The three-year old and the two-year old were discussing God, abandoned at the breakfast table by the rest of us who were rushing around getting ready for school.

Three-year old: God is important.
Two-year old, looking suspiciously around the kitchen: Where?
Three-year old: Important!
Two-year old: Where?
Mama, piping in from another room: Why do you say that He is important?
Three-year old: Because you can’t see Him!
Mama: You mean invisible?
Three-year old: That’s it! Invisible. (Turns to her brother) God is invisible.
Two-year old: Where?!
Three-year old: You can’t see Him! He’s in your tummy!

At which point the two-year old gleefully showed us all his tummy.
